Design & Build
I worked on this project in Essen, Germany with the architect Oliver Keuper. This house was designed for a family of 5 whilst keeping in mind the requirements specified by each individual. The house has 5 bedrooms with an open Living/Dining/Kitchen space that has a parallel view to the outdoor garden. The property also have a spa, a multipurpose hall and basement parking for upto 3 cars.
Concept Sketches
I was involved in this project since the very beginging. Together with the principal architect Oliver keuper, we produced multiple zoning sketches to ideate the design on site. There was a regular update in the concept sketches based on the feedback from the client time to time.
Technical Details
The overall aesthetic of the project is kept clean & modernist as demanded by the client. The ground floor has the open living/dining/kitchen space, small bathroom and two office rooms. The first floor has the master bedroom, 3 kids bedroom and 1 guest bed.
The basement of the house has a spa, a multipurpose hall and a utility room together with parking space. The property is built on an inclined plane and the same inclination has been adapted in the landscaping of the garden outside with steps for the outdoor sitting area.
